Typically, someone starts a thread using some bold or outrageous statement. The subject could be anything, such as Sprint Dsl Rebate. It doesn’t matter. Another member rebuts. Tempers rise. Things are said. Sides form. In many cases, moderators close or delete the thread. But, in some cases, the thread survives the day and may get quite lengthy. Then, an opinion is changed or an offending member just gets uncomfortable or feels a little guilty about what he said earlier. Here comes the apology. All that is left is the slow winding down from some of the other outspoken members. Then silence. Wonder what they will get cranked up about tomorrow?
